Overview
Multiplex Limited has hitherto majored in Road, Bridges, Building, Railway
Rehabilitation and Water works.The company participates in occupational health, safety
and environment programmes and has been awarded a certificate of compliance and an ISO
certificate.
Below are a few of our executed projects among others:
Roads
• Installation of motor vehicle speed limiters in Government’s effort to address the
issue of road accidents.
• Multiplex has with the assistance of DANIDA carried out research in the area of
alternative road construction materials.
• Construction of Roads in Mbarara City Council Under Cluster 6: Major Victor Bwana
Road, Galt Road and Stanley Road Under USMID – AF Infrastructure Program.
• Construction of Roads in Kabale Municipal Council under Cluster 6: Bwankosyaroad,
Bushekwire Road and Rushoroza Road Under USMID – AF Infrastructure Program.
• Construction of Roads in Ntungamo Municipal Council under Cluster 6: Kajinya Road
and
Tindibakira Road Under USMID – AF Infrastructure Program.
• Framework Contract for Routine Road Elements Repair for a Period of Eighteen (18)
Months.
• Ongoing projects within Central Uganda under the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area
Urban Development Program (GKMA-UDP) funded by World Bank.
Buildings
• Construction of Masaka Central Market in Masaka Municipality, Masaka District in
Uganda under the Markets and Agricultural Trade Improvement Programme Project - 2
(MATIP
- 2).
• Construction Works of 8 schools and one health centre for the Project for Social
Infrastructure Development for Promoting
Return and Resettlement of Internally Displaced Persons. Funded by
Japanese
Government
• Construction of Warehouses & Commercial Buildings at plot M799, Spring Road,
Industrial Area, Bugolobi
• Construction of 27 no. Health Centers in various parts of Uganda financed by the
African Development Bank
• Construction of over 25No. Executive residential units in Kampala City
Bridges & Water Works
• Construction/Reconstruction of Strategic Bridges in Eastern and Central Regions (3
Lots): Lot3: Nyalit Bridge on Kapchworwa – Suam Road & Seretiyo Bridge on Muyembe –
Namalu Road.
• Bwera gravity flow scheme
• Construction of Reservoir Tanks in Rural Growth Centres
• Relocation of sewer lines in Namuwongo urban center in Kampala city
• Water Transmission mains and Distribution lines for Kaweweta Barracks or Oliver Tambo
school of leadership
• Ekyambu Bridge in Ibanda
• Wolfram bridge in Kabaale
• Construction of Nsongi Bridge along Kamwenge – Dura – Rwimi Road
• Construction of Otaka bridge in northern Uganda
